A Christmas Carol - by Charles Dickens Performed 20th to 24th November 2018

Christmas, the season of cheer and goodwill to all men!
But sadly, Ebenezer Scrooge doesn’t quite see it that way. With the heart-warming story of one man’s redemption Charles Dickens created the ‘Merry Christmas’ we know today.
Cruel and miserly Scrooge cares nothing for others and spreads gloom and unhappiness all around him, especially to his poor clerk, Bob Cratchit, the father of Tiny Tim.
Luckily Ebenezer is given a second chance, and guided by the Spirits of Christmas, who show him his past, present and the future he could face, he mends his ways and looks forward to a brighter and happier life.
This production, based on Dickens’s classic story, demonstrates that wealth does not bring happiness unless it is also used for the benefit of others.
A play for all the family with music and well-loved carols, this production enchanted young and old alike.

This was performed at the Wyllyotts Theatre between the 20th and 24th November 2018 and was a great success for the company.
